  One of the more surprising entries to the 2012 NBA Draft was Villanova junior guard Dominic Cheek. Cheek, like fellow guard Maalik Wayns, leave Nova with one year of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-6 Cheek is coming off his most productive year for head coach Jay Wright. Cheek averaged 12.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in over 30 minutes a night.
